If you have made a failed personal injury claim or your claim was not resolved to your satisfaction it is possible to make a professional negligence claim against the solicitor who was working on your behalf.
Your former solicitor may have had the best intentions but may have made a genuine mistake such as missing a limitation date, or perhaps was too inexperienced to handle the complexities of your particular claim.
However, like other professionals you deal with such as doctors, surveyors etc your solicitor has a duty of care to look after your interests. If you have lost out financially as a result of their negligence you can make a professional negligence claim for damages against them.
We understand that you may feel uncomfortable in taking legal action against an advisor but such matters are often resolved without going to Court and the professional negligence claim is usually defended by the firm's professional indemnity insurers rather than the individual you dealt with.
Solicitors are highly qualified and should not take on work they are not capable of conducting properly. If you want an objective assessment of your professional negligence claim we will approach your former solicitors in an appropriate and professional way. We will not prejudge the issue and we will use our experience to resolve any dispute with the minimum of fuss and as quickly as possible. Unlike many of our competitors, our solicitors run professional negligence claims on a no win no fee basis
At claimsolicitors.co.uk we have an excellent track record in handling professional negligence claims. We can ensure that the issue is handled sensitively but also has the successful outcome you were entitled to expect in the first instance plus compensation caused by the professional negligence itself.

Professional Negligence Case Study
1. Mrs C was involved in a car accident and apparently suffered whiplash and back injuries. Unfortunately for Mrs C not only was the diagnosis for her condition complicated by her subsequent pregnancy but her solicitors made an error in handling her compensation claim and the case was "struck out" by the Court meaning that she received nothing.
Mrs C was referred to us and our specialist solicitor arranged further medical investigations by a neurosurgeon. As a result she received a new diagnosis and the appropriate treatment which involved surgery. As a result of the successful operation she was relieved of her debilitating condition and was thereafter able to get lead a near normal life. Furthermore we were successful in suing her former solicitors for negligence and she received £140,000 in compensation.
2. Mr and Mrs L and their family became ill from a defective water supply whilst on holiday abroad. They grouped together with the other holidaymakers to claim compensation from their UK tour operator. Unfortunately this "Group Action" failed due to mistakes by their chosen legal advisors. After coming to our firm for help we were able not only to secure a settlement for the whole family but one which was considerably greater than the original claim that their former solicitors had put forward.
