Nigel joined Davies & Company at its inception in 1998 and brought with him considerable Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law experience. Nigel’s primary expertise is in complex personal injury and fatal accident cases. However, he has litigated extensively and to Court of Appeal level representing broader Claimant interests – see Vellino -v- GMP 2001 EWCA Civ 1249.
Nigel has considerable experience of insurance disputes where consumers find themselves in conflict with their own insurers – see Hodgson -v- Tanner and others – Lawtel 2007 and Webb -v- Brown – Daily Mail 30.08.07. Nigel also conducts professional negligence and costs cases – see Foord -v- American Airlines 2007, EWCA90076. A keen advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Principled Negotiation, in 2008 Nigel was awarded a Masters Degree in Advanced Litigation and Dispute Resolution, with commendation, from Nottingham Law School. Nigel has the skills and experience to address any civil dispute and is an Accredited Mediator.

Scott is a litigation executive who for the past 11 years has specialised in personal injury claims arising out of road traffic accidents.
Philip Davies LLB (Hons) - Principal Solicitor
Philip Davies qualified in 1972 and set up his own firm in 1998.
Philip was involved in a the first landmark ruling in relation to credit hire charges when he acted for the successful party in the case of Giles v Thompson before the House of Lords.

Vicky works in the Road Traffic Accident claims team to deliver fast and efficient results for the victims of non-fault accident claims.
Raksha Jobanputra- Legal Assistant
Raksha handles client liaison, acting as the first point of contact for new clients, vetting new claims and advising on CFAs (No Win No Fee agreements). She takes initial instructions from clients on road traffic claims and various other types of accident claim. She is fluent in Gujarati, speaks Hindi, and has conversational Swahili.

Lorna joined the firm when it was founded. She has 15 years experience in personal injury law and specialises in helping clients injured as a result of road traffic accidents.
Peter Lloyd Jones LLB (Hons) - Senior Solicitor
Peter has a wealth of experience in personal injury claims, having practised solely in this area of the law for the last 20 years. He helps clients who have suffered injuries as a result of road traffic accidents. In particular he handles claims in which liability is disputed and his early training as a barrister has proved valuable in helping clients to get the best possible outcome.
Safeena Mahmood LLB (Hons) - Solicitor
Safeena completed her articles at a central Manchester firm and went on to specialise in personal injury work at her next firm. She joined Davies and Company in March 2010 and handles claims arising out of injuries sustained at work, caused by slips/trips, or in road traffic accidents. Safeena speaks fluent Urdu and Punjabi.
Paul McNulty LL.B - Solicitor
Paul joined the firm in early 2009. He trained at national practice Simpson Millar where he gained exposure to a wide variety of personal injury work. He has a particular interest in employers' liability cases having worked on behalf of Trade Unions such as BALPA (British Airline Pilots Association). He has also specialised in industrial disease claims.
At Davies and Company Paul specialises in a variety of claims arising from accidents or illness at work (especially industrial deafness), tripping and other accidents in a public place, and claims as a result of the use of defective products.
Cath Moulton - Receptionist
Cath is in charge of reception and switchboard and also provides secretarial support to Philip Davies.
Sharon Osborne - Senior Litigation Assistant
Sharon specialises in client liaison and case investigation. She also handles cases in her own right and assists the team manager with the conduct of complex cases.
Charlotte Reay - Secretary to Peter Lloyd-Jones
Charlotte has a solid background in the office having previously looked after administration. She now helps Peter Lloyd-Jones with his case load.
Abdul Mutee - Legal Assistant - (LLB) Hons
Abdul read law at the University of Bristol and then passed LPC (Legal Practice Course) professional examinations at The College of Law in Manchester. Abdul has broad legal knowledge and is experienced in handling claims for injuries sustained in road traffic accidents having previously worked at Manchester city centre firms. Abdul can also speak Urdu and Punjabi.
