Bus Accident Solicitors

Our team of no win, no fee solicitors have a wide range of experience in claiming compensation for bus accidents. If you have suffered an injury and it was someone else's fault, then you may be able to claim compensation as a result of the bus accident injury.

If the driver was responsible for the bus accident, for example if the bus suddenly pulled away while you were boarding, the bus company is liable. If another driver was responsible for the bus accident by causing the bus to stop suddenly or crash we would pursue them or their insurers to ensure that you get compensation for your suffering.

Often injuries suffered in bus accidents can be minor, for example, cuts and bruising caused by a fall when a bus driver pulled out too quickly. However if they are more serious and long lasting you may get bus accident compensation for your pain and suffering, your expenses and also lost wages where appropriate.

If you think you may have a bus accident claim, contact us and we will be please to advise you.

Bus Accident Case Study

1. Mrs B was travelling to work one morning by bus. Due to the bus being driven too fast the driver had to brake very suddenly when the car in front stopped. Unfortunately she was travelling in the front seat and was thrown forward six feet into the luggage rack. Mrs B suffered severe bruising to her left leg and ankle together with a groin strain. She was forced to take a week off work for which she lost pay and she was unable to look after her household and a family for a number of weeks.

Despite the bus company disputing liability we managed to make a successful claim on our client's part and she received £2500 in compensation.

2. Our client Mrs D is a lady in her nineties who was thrown to the floor when a bus driver took a corner too fast. She slid across the floor of the bus and sustained extensive bruising and soft tissue injuries. The bus operator denied liability but our solicitor was able to obtain witness evidence and the company paid Mrs D £4000 in compensation for her injuries.
