Our team of no win, no fee solicitors has a good track record in handling faulty product claims arising from accidents caused by defective products.
UK and EU law means that you can make a claim for defective product injury compensation if you sustain injuries as a result of using something that is faulty or dangerous. This can be any manner of product or device that is unsafe to use or that contains harmful substances. This could be a toy, a vehicle, an electrical product, an item of cosmetics, food or drink, even furniture such as the sofas recently alleged to cause skin damage. In dangerous product claims the manufacturer is liable not only if it supplies a product that is faulty but if an article carries insufficient warning labels therefore potentially posing a danger to the user. Consumer law states that you may have a dangerous product compensation claim even if the product in question was not sold directly to you.
If you have been injured by a faulty product and the manufacturer or supplier is negligent we can take action against them and claim faulty product compensation for your injuries
Product liability claims can be quite difficult to prove and you need a specialist claims solicitor to handle your claim.

Mrs B from Middlesex is set to receive an award of compensation after one of our solicitors successfully secured an admission of liability in respect of her defective product claim. Mrs B had purchased a plastic carton of Heinz Microwave Chicken Soup. After she had heated it in the microwave and then sipped it, she began choking and bleeding from the mouth. Her husband took her to hospital where she was examined and x-rayed and it became apparent that a piece of metal had become lodged in her throat. The foreign object had come from the carton of soup. As a result, Mrs B was admitted for surgery.
The Product Liability Insurers for Heinz have admitted liability and we are currently in the process of obtaining medical evidence in respect of Mrs B's injuries.
Imran Salim, Mrs B's solicitor, commented: "We can assist claimants in a variety of situations, such as when, as an innocent purchaser they are injured by goods intended for public consumption. The last thing Mrs B expected when sipping her soup was to end up with a piece of metal lodged in her throat. It was a very distressing incident for her".
